A few days ago, we received a call from a prospect who was very excited to tell us about their new product launch. An energy boost powder, sugar-free and with good taste. They had developed a brand identity, a brand strategy, designed a good website, developed on the Shopify platform, but sales were below initial expectations. While the company excelled on the branding, design, and platform, they totally lacked an effective marketing strategy. We have seen this time and time again. The “Build it and they will come”, simply does not work, no matter how good your product is.
